How I can help

A technology entrepreneur, educator, public speaker, board member and advisor.

As an educator, I am the Assistant Dean of Strategic Initiatives at Drexel University’s Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship. I get to develop and run many great initiatives while doing some teaching and running our great startup incubator, the Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship. In addition to an MBA in technology management from Drexel, I was trained at the Price-Babson Symposium on Entrepreneurship Education.
As an entrepreneur,  I’ve founded and have helped launch several startups and products in the fields of enterprise software, business process management, and mobile apps.  One of those, PhindMe, has an interesting story here.
As a public speaker, I’ve been fortunate to be able to talk about mobile technologies, intrapreneurship, and mid-career entrepreneurship (drawing on my experiences that were profiled in Fortune Magazine). In addition to advising startups, I am an advisory board member at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Philadelphia, am a Venture for America Regional Advisory Board Member, am a founding member of the Philadelphia Regional Entrepreneurship Education Consortium, am a Fulbright Specialist, am an editor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exchange and am a board member for the Private Investor Forum which runs the Angel Venture Fair in Philadelphia. I also help to lead the effort for the inaugural College Pitch Philly – a regional university student entrepreneurship competition that was funded by StartupPHL.
